with their families and the people who care about them, that the disease
affects their lives.
Zimrat Yah, founded in 2006 by Hanna Klebansky, provides services for Russian speakers that address the unique cultural, spiritual, community and social needs of the Russian speaking community in Israel.
The Center provides complimentary treatment for people suffering from cancer, easing the process and period of their illness. The treatments are provided by volunteer therapists in Jerusalem free of charge, allowing patients of all socio-economic backgrounds to benefit equally.
Eden's Mission: Transforming the mikvah from simply a ritual location into a women's hub that celebrates, empowers and enhances Jewish womanhood, combining resources for body, mind and soul in one location. Eden thinks of the woman as a whole being, integrating halakhic, health, and beauty components to emphasize the needed balance between body and soul. Concurrently, it provides a platform to make needed resources accessible and to guide women through the life-cycle. Finally, Eden conveys respect for women, reclaiming the mikvah as a source for inspiration and connection
Zichron Menachem was founded in 1990 in memory of young Menachem Ehrental, z”l, who spent his fifteen childhood years valiantly battling cancer. His parents and loved ones aspired to utilize their shared knowledge and experiences in order to benefit and ease the plight of other cancer-stricken children and their families. Over the past two decades, scores of doctors, liberal-art professionals, public figures, Rabbinical authorities, and hundreds of volunteers have joined forces to create Zichron Menachem (literally: Menachem’s Memorial) into a powerhouse of courage, goodwill, and love.
Zichron Menachem is a non-profit organization that grants immediate, practical and long-term aid and solutions to young cancer patients from the moment of diagnosis and throughout their battle with illness, as well as physical and emotional support to parents and families throughout the long, excruciating ordeal.
In appreciation of its humanitarian endeavors, Zichron Menachem has been awarded the Israel Presidential Prize for Volunteers; Israel Prime Ministerial Child Protector Award; Israel Health Ministerial Prize for Volunteers; and the Mayor of Jerusalem’s Citation for Volunteers, among others.
Dedicated volunteers, assisted by a talented faculty of art and music professionals, dispense support to young cancer patients in hospitals and private homes from morning until night. Zichron Menachem’s Recreational Centers and Libraries are open and accessible to patients and volunteers where applicable.
Welcome to Hadadi. Hadadi is a non-profit organization committed to the operation of a novel breast cancer support center in Jerusalem. The center is comprehensive and combines both emotional and material support for women coping with breast cancer.
The organization works to cause significant and deliberate in Israel for IBD patients and their families. The association focuses on expanding the awareness of Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, dissemination of reliable information on the disease and how to cope with them, promoting the rights of patients with authorities and development activities to improve the quality of life and well-being
Cancer hits the entire family hard, and there are no existing
programs today in Israel to provide support to the young members of
families living with cancer or coping with a cancer loss. We would like
to show the children that they are not alone, and to help them have fun
with other kids like them.
Cancer does not discriminate and
neither do we. We invite all children, teens and their parents anywhere
in Israel (or who plan to visit) – who have been touched by cancer – to
join our circle of community and support.
Cancer progresses, after all the treatments that cure over, comes the supportive care, designed to ease the suffering of the patient, reduce pain and treat symptoms of the disease. This is the moment to consider the option of returning the patient home to familiar surroundings and the warm bosom and supporting the family.

One in Nine Organization strives to raise public awareness of breast
cancer and advance breast health in Israel. One in Nine provides
patients and their families with support, information and the protection
of rights, and leads advanced and equality promoting policy regarding
the disease. We regard as being of vital importance the inclusion of
medications for the treatment of breast cancer into the health basket.
Pulmonary hypertension is a debilitating illness that can strike
children and adults of all ages but most often afflicts women in their
childbearing years. The disease affects the blood vessels between the
heart and lungs causing a drop in oxygen levels and injuring the right
side of the heart muscle. Women stricken with the illness are unable to
function normally. They have difficulty walking from one room the next,
climbing stairs or otherwise conducting their daily affairs
Israel Pulmonary Hypertension Association was established in 2000 in
order to assist and support people suffering from the disease.
The organization's objectives include:
Providing financial assistance to patients for the purchase of medications and medical equipment,
to the inclusion of medications and new treatments in the government's
basket of subsidized drugs and health services,
Gathering relevant information concerning the disease anddisseminating it to patients and their families,
Operating a website offering information on a broad array of topics relating to the disease,
Organizing support groups for patients and their families,
Convening yearly conferences including lectures by physicians and other specialists,
Providing a framework for social interaction and mutual supportand sponsoring social events for patients and their families.
