Training Course for volunteers Support for the ill

We are happy to announce the opening of a unique volunteer training course volunteers for the ill in a communal approach using spiritual care tools and skills.

The course will include theoretical knowledge relating to cases of crisis, old age, illness and loss. Study of the significance and role of the community and mutual responsibility according to Jewish philosophical sources. spiritual care tools such as the use of Jewish text, prayer and dealing with issues of meaning and practicing of listening skills , presence and awareness.

At the conclusion of the course, volunteers will be placed, according to their preference and the needs of the communities.

This course is part of "Hibur" program, which aims to connect the individual, the community and medical centers through spiritual care as a means to create a healthy society in Israel.
