Benjamin W. Corn, M.D., Executive Chairman & Founder of Life's Door-Tishkofet organization on the morning program "New Day" on Channel 2. One year after Adi Talmor, an Israeli journalist and news presenter, decided to end his life by assisted suicide in Switzerland after he was diagnosed with lung cancer, the show deals with the question wheather Israel will allow assisted suicide in the future.

Adi Talmor came to see Professor Ben Corn, Chairman of Radiation Oncology at Ichilov Hospital, for a number of treatments. On the show, Professor Ben Corn talks about steps in dealing with illness, the need for dealing with difficult issues such as illness and death, about the discussions with Adi Talmor and how he discovered about his death in Switzerland.

At a ceremony with 900 guests, President Shimon Peres awarded the “Presidential Award for Voluntarism "(2011) to Prof. Ben Corn, a world-renowned expert in oncology, founder of LDT organization for spiritual support for patients and their families. Prof. Corn came to the ceremony accompanied by his wife Dvora Corn LDT co-founder and executive director, his family and representatives of the organization.
